I bought this product on a whim while Christmas shopping last year and am completely amazed with the results. Thanks to genetics, I have large pores and have tried different things to minimize them, but this stuff blew every other product I tried away! My skin was a lot smoother and my pores looked much smaller!
I also found another benefit from this product. I also have very oily skin -again from genetics- and I noticed that the Swisa dead sea peel almost completely eliminated the problem! I have tried so many things to reduce the oil, but nothing worked. To give you an idea of the problem, I would completely soak one of those oil absorbing wipes just on 1/3 of my forehead. I would wash my face in the morning, follow with astringent and an oil control product, but 2 hours later my face would be shiny and slick again. After using this stuff for only a few days I noticed that my face was staying dry for nearly the entire day! I was overjoyed that I finally found a product that would compensate for bad genes!
I recommend this product to anyone, especially anyone who has large pores or oily skin. It has found a permanent spot in my list of products I can’t live without!

I started using this product over 2 years ago. I have acne that ranges from medium to severe depending on the alignment of the universe that day, and I have an olive complexion so my acne scars are generally a dark purplish color. Since my skin is so sensitive and sore from the acne standard abrasive exfoliants irratate my skin, but this product is incredibly mild and sensitive.
When you first apply the product it is in a gel form, and after a few seconds it feels like it turns to water on your face. It noticeably removes all dead skin. I’ve tried other similar products that use dead sea salt and claim to be like this product; all I can say is that with this particular product it is obvious that it’s your dead skin that’s peeling away and not the product itself.
This is by no means a cure for acne as I still break out as often as I always have, but it does seem to reduce the healing time, reduces blackheads, and lightens my scarring significantly. With other products my acne would take about a week to heal and my scars would take months to fade away, with this product my new blemishes are gone within 3 days, and the scaring gets noticeably lighter with each use, and are generally faded within the month. I know that probably doesn’t sound too impressive, but I’ve tried every acne and scar product that has ever existed and this product has noticeably improved my complexion above anything I’ve ever used besides a chemical peel from the dermatologist.
I love this exfoliant so much I got all my family and friends to try it out, and now none of us can live without it.

Five stars +…I have just recently just started using Dead Sea Salt products on my face since I heave heard nothing but raves from everyone I know about them I wanted to try this product out. This facial peel is AMAZING! I have had issues with acne (i’m in my late 30′s due to hormones) and this takes a lot of the redness away and helps clear up my complexion. This is a gel that you lightly rub into your face in circular motions and it turns in to a “salt” or “scrub-like” crystals that you rub on your face much like other scrubs you buy on the market. My face has never been so clean and smooth…EVER! My pours are very small and I find this gets rid of all my flaky areas. This is a once or twice a week treatment, but I find with my problem areas I use it more frequently. It’s definitely worth the price and I would recommend it to anyone with sensative-acne skin.

I purchased this product from a kiosk in the Mall of America, and I must say the salespeople sure are aggressive. No matter, though, because I was really impressed with the way this stuff gets rid of the dead skin on the facial area and leaves me all nice and smooth.
I’m a guy and so I don’t really take care of my skin as well as women do, but I must say that I was sufficiently impressed with this product to the point that I give it a full recommendation.

It’s Lye,(Sodium Hydroxide), with enough ‘natural’ moisturizing agents to clog up the pores most effectively. Chemical burns can be very dangerous, yet there is no mention of time limitations on exposure to skin.
