Control Your Skin With Wrinkle Cure and Anti Aging Care

Tuesday, February 15th, 2011

Discover the secrets of anti aging treatment and get that healthy glow back into your skin. It is not a far-fetched dream. Come, read on and make it a reality.

Eternal youth is what mankind has coveted since ages. However, while eternal youth is a far-fetched dream, mankind has succeeded in inventing various creams, medicines, and ointments that slows the process of aging to a considerable level. However, before you try out any of these treatments it is important you do some research. While looking young is a tempting prospect the treatment is not always safe.

The most common anti-aging treatments are anti-wrinkle creams. These creams can be used on the skin directly to reduce wrinkles, treat sagging skin and age spots. But be careful in your choice since most of these have harsh chemicals which can do you harm.

Understand the ageing process.

- Ageing is a natural process of life. It need not be abhorred or feared. It is important to remember that the aim is to look good without wrinkles. If you are fifty, no anti-aging product can make you look sixteen again. Creams and surgeries cannot remove the signs of aging, they can only minimize them.

- If your skin can produce elastin, collagen, hyaluronic acid, and anti oxidants to protect it, then looking young is not a very difficult prospect. It’s only when your body starts losing its natural contents that it starts looking ill. Therefore, when you treat aging with natural products it is most effective. Natural products work from the inside. While other creams and even surgeries work only on the surface a natural treatment fixes the problem from the root.

What are the various anti-aging skin treatments?

- Exercise, eat healthy food, drink lots of water, and lead a healthy lifestyle. Make sure that you use a natural anti aging product since your skin responds best to what comes directly from nature.

- Facial treatments and Botox injections were once used by celebrities to look younger. Today these are common for anybody who wants to look young. Botox, especially, is useful, to fight wrinkles in the forehead. It also prevents the sagging of skin. However, it is not a long-term solution to wrinkles.

- Laser resurfacing, chemical peels, collagen injections, radio wave frequency are other anti-aging treatments. While the treatments are expensive and sometimes risky, the results are only temporary.

- Face lift is an effective and more long lasting option of anti aging but is quite costly and a little bit risky.

Be careful while proceeding.

- What you can do consult your dermatologist and learn about all the anti aging treatments and the possible side effects. If you want to treat deep wrinkles or scars, you can go for laser resurfacing or collagen injections but if you have only common wrinkles than a good anti-wrinkle cream can be quite effective too.

- Be careful to choose a natural anti aging product with organic ingredients to fight those wrinkles. Steer clear of synthetic cosmetics and ointments that contain harsh chemicals. Be natural and you will look younger without much effort.

Thus, in conclusion, have realistic goals or you will be disillusioned with the entire process. Remember, you cannot revert a natural process; you can only stall it for some time.

Should You Use Organic Skin Care Products?

Friday, December 24th, 2010

There has been an increase in the use of organic skin care products over the years. You might be aware of the benefits of eating organic foods and you might be asking yourself why you need to use organic skin and body care products as well. Well, you should know that what makes our body healthy is not only what you put inside it but on it as well.

The epidermis is the largest organ of the body. It can easily absorb anything that is applied to it like in the case of lotions, creams, and other skin care products. The problem with a lot of skin care products is that they are made using chemicals and other ingredients that can cause health problems.

Parabens, dioxanes, mineral oil, alcohol, and fragrances are all commonly used in skin care products. What consumers aren’t aware of is that these ingredients can cause serious health problems like cancer. These ingredients can be toxic to the body and when you apply them repeatedly to your skin, this is where the problem begins.

Organic skincare products are obviously better than other skin care products because they contain no artificial preservatives or ingredients. Natural ingredients are mild to the skin and do not cause skin reactions like rashes or skin irritation. These are a lot safer and you don’t have to worry about getting cancer and other diseases. In terms of effectiveness, organic skin care products are also very powerful.

A lot of natural ingredients contain antioxidants that help fight free radical damage, antibacterial properties to help fight acne and skin infection, and some ingredients can even restore the firmness and elasticity of the skin by increasing production of collagen and elastin in the body.

Some of the best ingredients you can find in organic skin products are avocado oil, shea butter, maracuja extract, manuka honey, cynergy TK, and jojoba oil. There are a whole lot of other natural ingredients which target specific skin problems and these are very safe and effective.

When you want a healthy body and healthy skin, remember that it is not only what you put inside that matters. What you apply on your skin matters as well. Make sure that you eat fresh and healthy foods, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, avoid smoking and drinking alcohol, and pay attention to what you apply on your skin. If you want the best for your skin, then make sure that you use only organic, natural skin care products.

Healthy Skin Needs Nourishment From Healthy Food and Healthy Skin Care Products

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

We all want beautiful skin, but what about healthy skin?  Don’t we need that in order to be beautiful?  I sure think so.

If our skin is unhealthy, it may be able to be made to look beautiful with makeup or even plastic surgery, but once the makeup is taken off, then what? And if you have to resort to plastic surgery, if there isn’t a healthy bases to keep the skin nourished aren’t you just going to need surgery again?

I’m certainly not one to go the plastic surgery route.  For one thing I can’t afford it, and another thing I don’t like surgery.  To be put under anesthetic for a life threatening disease or a broken bone that needs taken care of is one thing, but to put drugs in my veins for vanity purposes is not my cup of tea.  If it is yours, and you have the bucks go ahead, but my advice to you is that you will still work on keeping your skin healthy, because without health, life isn’t much fun.

To have truly healthy skin we must first start with what we eat and drink.  Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits and nuts.  They have plenty of antioxidants that can combat what free radicals do to our cells.  Some foods that are particularly high in antioxidants are blueberries, cranberries, pinto beans, red beans, apples, pecans and artichokes.  (more…)

How Healthy Food Can Effect our Skin

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

We all want to be healthy, wealthy and beautiful. But when it comes to talking about beauty, some people know a lot about skin care, while others haven’t a clue what our skin is designed for.

When we reach the age that we begin to see fine lines and wrinkles, we start to look for solutions. I may not be a doctor, but I studied anatomy and physiology while at university and I know that our skin deserves all the nutrition we can give it. If anything, we have to feed our skin natural, healthy, raw food instead of processed food if we expect it to stand up to wind and sun.

The skin normally renews its cells every 28 days.  We can talk all day long about lotions and creams, but applying a cream with nutrients to the surface of our skin does not ensure that those nutrients actually penetrate into our skin cells.

I want to share a personal story with you. A couple of years ago my 30-year-old son fell ill and I was shocked by the doctors’ diagnoses. One said that his intestines were abnormally long and the other said he had warm tape!  I couldn’t believe it.

Neither could my son. Rejecting what the doctors had said,  he decided to clean his body. At first, he visited doctors who specialized in natural medicine. They put him on a diet, but all that did was cause him to lose a lot of weight. He then turned to reading about alternative medicine, followed their recipes and instructions, and cleaned his liver. As a result,  he was able to get rid of 30 stones from his liver.

When I visited my son in Europe recently, I was amazed at how he looked so radiant and healthy, his skin practically glowing. He told me that he ate five times a day, eating nothing but natural, balanced food and forgoing anything that had added salt or sugar, as well as no smoked foods or white bread, and drank fresh juice every day.

His story typifies how a clean body and good nutrients can affect our skin. By ensuring that our body has the nutrients it needs, and by including a few key herbs, oils and other remedies in our regular routine, we can not only quickly improve the quality of our skin, but we can also look good as well as feel young and healthy. Essential fatty acids are vital to our skin. Good-quality oils help to keep skin lubricated and healthy overall, since what happens inside your body determines the quality of your skin.

While the main goal is to detoxify our bodies for our own good health and a healthy skin, it is also important to create good eating habits for our children. A child is a mirror of our own habits, and by giving our babies some bites of cake, pizza or overcooked food rather than fruits and vegetables when they start to eat real food, we are creating some very bad habits for them. The answer, of course, is education.

Processing removes essential nutrients from foods, may also destroy nutrients or change them into toxic substances. We need to teach our kids to eat those foods that are rich in antioxidants, such as blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and plums. A wide variety of different foods is always recommended for a healthy balanced diet so that the body receives the vast complement of nutrients it needs for good health. Replace processed foods with fresh ones, don’t eat junk food, don’t drink soft drinks, stay away from sugar, and you’ll be well on your way looking younger.

Simply eat a well-balanced and varied diet that includes more then 25 ingredients per day and have a healthy lifestyle. Believe me, it will help to keep your skin in good condition.  Also learn how to read product labels to understand better what is healthy for our skin and what is not.
